September through December was very busy months for the athletes at the Olympian Fencing Club of San Antonio. Different fencers in all age classes competed in U.S. cities including Secaucus, NJ, Denver, CO, and Louisville, KY; some traveled as far as Copenhagen, Denmark and Grenoble, France, and then back to Olympian Fencing Club for the year ending Holiday Party, Dec. 27.

Very good performance for Luke Kolbinskie at the Super Youth Circuit in Chandler, Arizona.  Luke won Bronze medal in Y12 Men’s Epee event and he also showed good improvement in his fencing technic.  We are proud of you Luke!!!

Another overseas tournament for our Cadet Robin Cheong with good performance.  Robin finished 23rd in Copenhagen, Denmark Cadet Circuit, he competed against 182 top cadet fencers in the World.  Good job Robin!!!

6 Medals at the North American Cup (NAC) in Dallas for OFC!!!

We’re back from another exciting fencing adventure.  Congratulations to all of our participants, to all OFC medalists, OFC coaches and families, for their continuous help and support in our effort!

On November 22, our cadet fencer and Saint Mary’s Hall student Farrah Lee-Elabd, representing Team USA finished 11^th in the Epee woman’s event at the 2014 Cadet European Cup in Grenoble, France.  Farrah competed against 186 best cadet fencers from over 25 Countries.  Farrah Lee-Elabd, representing Team USA1, won the Silver medal in the team competition, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congratulations to Robin Cheong who finished 8^th place today at the European Circuit in Klagenfurt, Austria.  Robin competed against 220 top cadet fencers from over 30 countries.  Tomorrow will be the Team event, Go USA!

Congratulations to our Cadet Robin Cheong who competed today in his first ever Junior World Cup in Luxembourg.  Robin competed against 210 best Junior fencers in the World and finished 44th place.  We are proud of you Robin and wish you best of luck in your next adventures!
