Olympian Brings Home Success at Fencing NAC 2013 in Richmond

Olympian had multiple fencers take on Richmond this spring and had great success. We are happy to announce to you that we returned with two medals: Farrah Lee-Elabd won Gold in Y14 women’s epee and Brandon Benavides won 7th place Finalist medal in Y12.

Olympian Cup Fencing Tournament a Huge Success

The 2013 Olympian Cup was a huge success. Our Y8, Y10, Y12, and Y14 fencers all got great experience in competition with many coming from around the state. The Senior mixed epee tournament ended up being an A2 event with multiple fencers earning their 2013 ratings. Louisville NAC Produces Two Medals

Olympian is proud of our team who attended the January North American Cup in Louisville, KY this month. Robin Cheong wins gold in Y14 men’s epee and Farrah Lee-El Abd takes bronze in Y14 women’s epee. Great job fencers! Olympian Joins San Antonio Fencing Center to Host RYC

Tomorrow October 20th Olympian hosts the only San Antonio RYC this season and the Alamo area. All three weapons will be involved: epee, sabre, and foil. The Road to London with the Hurley Sisters

London was a sweet reward for Courtney and Kelley Hurley. The local San Antonio fencers took their lifelong work with them to the Olympics this summer and brought home the bronze medal.
