2015 Cadet & Junior World Championships – Uzbekistan

We are very proud to announce that our Cadet fencer Farrah Lee-Elabd will represent US Team at the 2015 Cadet & Junior World Championships held during April in Uzbekistan.  Farrah is ranked 2nd in US Cadet Women’s points system which will allow her to represent US and OLYMPIAN FENCING CLUB at the upcoming 2015 Cadet & Junior World Championships.   Good luck to Farrah and Team USA, we are very proud of you!!!

2015 Junior Olympics Championships, Richmond, VA

On February 13, Saint Mary’s Hall’s student Robin Cheong won Bronze medal in the Cadet Men’s Epee fencing event and 7th place Finalist medal in the Junior Men’s Epee fencing event at the 2015 Junior Olympics Championships in Richmond, VA.  With his performance, Robin is one of not many fencers winning two out of two medals in one competition in US Junior Olympics history.  Robin competed against 246 top male epee fencers in the US age 19 and under in ...

2015 Pan-American Championships – Toronto, Canada

Another good International performance over the weekend this time from our Cadet Sydney Love who participated in Pan-American Fencing Championships on January 6th-7th in Toronto, Canada.  Sydney participated in Junior Women’s Epee event and placed 23rd.  Sydney with Team USA won the Gold medal in the Junior team event, congratulations Sydney and Team USA!!!

Junior World Cup – Burgos, Spain

San Antonio youth fencers earn medals.

September through December was very busy months for the athletes at the Olympian Fencing Club of San Antonio. Different fencers in all age classes competed in U.S. cities including Secaucus, NJ, Denver, CO, and Louisville, KY; some traveled as far as Copenhagen, Denmark and Grenoble, France, and then back to Olympian Fencing Club for the year ending Holiday Party, Dec. 27.
